Established in 1980, Alphatex lies at the heart of the Alpha Group. It specializes in the development of innovative fabrics with high quality standards. Alphatex supplies to discerning, high-end buyers such as Marks & Spencer and exports over 80% of its production worldwide.

Alphatex's strength lies in is production of poly/viscose blends and fabrics made from new generational fibers such as polynosic and Modal®. It's product range includes standard suitings, fancy suitings, special dress fabrics, silk shirtings, Lycra®, Modal®/polyester and drapery fabrics. The facility is also capable of producing Tencel® and Tactel®. Alphatex is committed to research and development and is always on the lookout for new trends, constantly experimenting with the creation of new fabrics.

Our modern equipment include Picanol airjet looms, Vamatex rapier looms with dobbies and jacquard selvedge attachments and Barco computerized monitoring system. With equally up to date auxilliary equipment, it can ensure that quality is maintained from yarn preparation to woven greige stage.

Alphatex is currently undergoing certification process for ISO 9001.
