Alpha Spinning was added to the group in 1988 in response to a need for high-quality yarns to fulfill customer's requirements for increasingly complex and elaborate fabrics. Alpha Spinning's facilities are designed to handle a complete spectrum of fibers from the coarsest of linens to the finest of synthetics. Today, Alpha Spinning is ISO 9002 certified and, according to Uster (the Swiss makers of yarn testing instruments and publishers of international yarn quality norms) its yarn quality ranks among the top 5% of world spinners for most yarn types it produces.

Alpha Spinning is outfitted with equipment from such leading machinery manufacturers as Shlaforst, Reiter, Murata, Lakshmi Reiter, Volkmann Inglostadt and Barmag along with laboratory and testing equipment from Uster.

Alpha Spinning produces spun yarns in various fibers including polyester, viscose, cotton, linen, polynosic, Modal®, and their blends in both regular and fancy slub variations. It also has the capacity to texturize polyester yarns (both regular and cationic dyeable) as well as twisting spun, filament and spun-filament combined yarns.
